With Lanes & Planes, you can create your mileage as receipt via our Lanes & Planes app and change or delete it after creation.
You can add the mileage allowance to an existing booking or to an expense report.
To create the receipt for a mileage allowance, first click on an existing booking or expense report in the app. You can find these in the âTravelâ section, either in the âUpcomingâ or âPastâ tab:
You are now in the details of your booking or expense report. Here you can click on the blue â+â in the bottom right corner and create a receipt via âAdd expenseâ:
Now select the category âMileage allowanceâ:
Then enter the relevant information for creating the receipt one after the other.
Now follow the instructions on the screen. You will be guided through the process step by step.
Here you can enter the route from A to B and also bill additional routes in one receipt, for example, the outward and return journey or a trip with stopovers.
To do this, go to âAdd route.â
Lanes & Planes automatically calculates the mileage and the amount to be reimbursed.
The calculation is based on the current legal requirement of 0.30 cents per kilometer.
Important: The distance is calculated based on the current traffic situation and may therefore be calculated at a different flat rate for the same route on different days.
However, you have the option to overwrite the information.
At the end, simply click on âFinish.â
You will now find the receipt either in the trip selected at the beginning under âExpensesâ or in the general âExpensesâ area:
Changing/deleting a mileage allowance in the app
You can change or completely delete your mileage allowance receipt (like any other receipt you have created) until you have submitted the respective trip or expense report for approval. After that, no further changes are possible unless a receipt is rejected and released for editing again.
To make changes, please click on the corresponding receipt for the mileage allowance and then scroll down to âEditâ and âDeleteâ:
