Why does the price change during my booking?
Our platform works with so-called live price enquiries. This means that as soon as you select an offer, we request the current price from the chosen provider (e.g. airline, hotel, etc.) in real time.
These prices can change within seconds - for example if:
- another customer books the last available offer at the old price,
- the provider updates its prices at short notice (e.g. due to demand, availability, time of day),
- technical updates are made to the provider's system.
What happens in the event of a price change?
If the price changes between the display and the selection of a tariff, you will automatically receive a notification:
There you will see the new current price that the provider has just sent us.
Note: Prices can be changed both upwards and downwards.
What happens after the booking?
In rare cases, it can happen that a booking is initially confirmed with one price, but the provider afterwards reports the correct price.
In such cases you will receive
- a credit note (if the price was too high),
- or a new invoice (if the provider subsequently corrects the price).
Our tip
We recommend that you check the price details again carefully when finalising your booking and follow the instructions in the system.
If there are still any uncertainties, our support team will be happy to help you!
