The Deutschland-Ticket allows for unlimited travel on all regional trains within Germany. To ensure you can seamlessly book your train journeys via Lanes & Planes in combination with your existing subscription, you can easily store the ticket in your profile.
How to Add Your Deutschland-Ticket
Navigate to your Personal User Account and select the Loyalty & Discount Cards section.
Select "Deutschland-Ticket" from the drop-down menu.
Enter the validity period* if required.
Click Add. The Deutschland-Ticket is now saved to your profile and will be considered for future bookings.
*If a validity period is specified, we will inform you shortly before and upon expiration during the booking process and via mail. The user is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data.
Booking Process with the Deutschland-Ticket
Once the ticket is stored, the system automatically detects whether the requested route (or parts of it) is covered by the Deutschland-Ticket.
Search Indicator: While selecting a connection and throughout the booking process, an indicator (including a tooltip) will appear to show that the Deutschland-Ticket is being applied to the request.
Confirmation: After completing the booking, a final indicator will confirm that the booking was finalized using your Deutschland-Ticket details.
Note on the Ticket: On the official Deutsche Bahn ticket, the "Reservierung / Hinweise" section will specify which portion of the journey is covered by the Deutschland-Ticket and which portion by the main ticket.
⚠️ Important Limitations
Supported Providers: The Deutschland-Ticket can currently only be applied to bookings made via Deutsche Bahn (DB). Other rail providers are currently not supported for this feature.
Multi-Passenger Bookings: When booking for multiple people, it is essential that all travelers have a Deutschland-Ticket saved in their respective profiles (similar to the logic on bahn.de).
Note: If even one traveler does not have the ticket stored in their profile, a notification will appear, and the search will be conducted for everyone without applying the Deutschland-Ticket.
