Important information:
When we are unfortunately unable to check you in
Should we be unable to check you in, we will inform you so that you can check in yourself.
When and why this happens:
- If you are flying with Ryanair
Ryanair does not allow us direct access to your booking or check-in details
If we require additional documents or details
- Flights to the USA: Check-in for the outbound flight is only possible with a full destination address
- Airlines that require copies or scans of passports (e.g. United Airlines, American Airlines).
- Check-ins requiring SMS verification, e.g. Chinese airlines
- Check-ins requiring visa or residence permit details
- If you are a guest traveller
Due to legal requirements, we are not permitted to check in guest travellers
- If you have booked alongside a colleague whom we cannot check in (guest traveller, missing passport details for colleagues, etc.)
In the case of a joint booking, for technical reasons all travellers usually have to be checked in together.
- If you book at short notice (less than 2 hours before departure)
Most airlines do not allow third parties to check in at such short notice.
- If you book at night (8.00 pm–8.00 am) for the following day (particularly early flights before 10.00 am), we cannot guarantee timely check-in and ask that you check in yourself.
Further information
- If you have booked separately from your colleagues, we will check you in individually and are therefore unable to guarantee that you will be seated together.
- We will attempt to check you in once check-in opens. If this is not possible – for example, due to missing passport details – we will not attempt to do so again even after the passport details have been uploaded.
