ÖBB bookings and tickets

Here you will find all the important information about your ÖBB bookings and tickets.

1. Booking your ticket

Booking an ÖBB ticket is simple and straightforward using the Lanes & Planes software. As usual, you start via our Search & Book screen and select the desired connection at the desired fare. The booking process is unchanged.

2. Confirmation of your booking

Once your booking has been successfully completed, you will receive an additional e-mail (subject: ACTION REQUIRED: You need to issue ÖBB ticket(s)) to the e-mail address you provided. This e-mail contains important information about your booking, as well as a note that your ticket must be actively downloaded.

3. Active download of the ticket

Please note that it is necessary to actively download your ticket. The link to the booking is in the ACTION REQUIRED email. Click on the link and follow the instructions to download your ticket. You will then receive your ticket by e-mail as usual.

You'll be able to download your ticket within the Lanes & Planes Mobile App as well.

Important: The ticket must be downloaded before travelling, otherwise it will not be valid.

4. Cancellation of the ticket

Once you have downloaded your ticket, it can no longer be cancelled. Please check all details carefully before downloading. If you have any questions or uncertainties, please do not hesitate to contact us.
