Flight tickets are strictly non-transferable and issued to a specific person. A complete transfer of a ticket to another person is excluded by most airlines.
In such cases, the existing ticket usually has to be canceled and a new ticket booked for the new traveler. A few airlines do offer ticket transfers and allow this for a fee.
Minor name corrections are often possible. However, the requirements, deadlines, and any fees that may apply vary depending on the airline and tariff.
Please note that travelers themselves are responsible for the accuracy of the personal data stored in their Lanes & Planes user profile. If adjustments are needed, please contact your internal administrator, as only they are authorized to make changes to your user data.
There is no universal policy. Whether a name change or transfer can or must be made is determined solely by the airline concerned.
Since the regulations and resulting costs vary depending on the airline and tariff, this can only be checked on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us regarding this, preferably via our contact form.
