With Lanes & Planes, not only can cost centres be mapped and processed, but it is also possible to work with cost units.

Add cost units
Cost units can be added via the company account via "Settings & Policies" in the "Manage Cost Units".
You can then also assign cost units to users or delete them.
Under "Settings & Policies" you can also decide whether the specification of the cost unit is mandatory or not.
Specifying the cost unit
Users select cost units in the same way as cost centres during booking, external booking entry, expense reporting and expense creation.
Cost Unit Split
A cost unit split can also be made.
This allows users to specify multiple cost units, splitting costs on a percentage basis across multiple cost items.
